Luna sank deeper into the laundry cart, bracing for whatever transport awaited her. This was her ticket to freedom, unconventional as it may have been. Luna was nearly discovered, but as soon as the laundry crew departed, she sprang from the cart and called to the wind, telling Will she was on her way.

Finn came home after a swim, and with the kids gone, Steffy wanted to savor her time alone with him. With the house empty, Steffy and Finn embraced the romantic mood and kissed. He asked how she managed to escape Forrester, and, fortunately for Finn, it was Ridge who encouraged her to spend time with him. After all they endured with Sheila and Luna, she knew how fleeting life was and wanted to cherish every moment with him.

Finn lamented life and loss, realizing he never wanted to take Steffy for granted. They laughed, caressed each other, and decided to eat together before kissing again. Finn promised, "I will always fight to keep my family safe." Steffy replied that they'd never deal with his lunatic daughter again, unaware of Luna's escape.

Steffy remembered the shock of returning to town to the news that Luna wasn't dead. She was petrified that Luna would never face justice for her crimes and find a way to terrorize her family forever. They both felt bad for Will and the connection he would be forced to share with her for the first time in his life because of the pregnancy.

Bill and Katie relaxed on their couch, and he made it clear how thrilled he was to be back together. She praised his patience in the situation, and he exclaimed that he would've waited as long as needed. Their new priority was to make sure that everything would remain okay with Will. He wished he had come to his senses sooner in life, as a result of the time he lost with Katie. He acknowledged his faults, but she told him not to be too hard on himself.

Bill told her, "Sharing my life with you, having you by my side, there is nothing that we can't accomplish, and that includes helping to heal our family." Bill took a call from the office, and while his instinct was initially to lose his cool, he paused for a moment and took a calmer approach. Katie was pleased with Bill's restraint. Bill reflected on the advice Liam had given him on how to handle things, and he believed he was right all along.

Bill apologized for the number of times he hurt Katie, and he confessed he was lost without her, and he fought so long to win her back. Katie admitted that she didn't need to be rescued by anyone, but she reminded him that her love for him had never disappeared. She had always been and would always be in love with him, even if it took so long to reunite. Although she wanted him to be the man he tried to change into, she wasn't expecting perfection. Katie reflected on how difficult the last few months must've been for him since his securing Luna's pardon indirectly led to Liam's shooting and Will's nightmare train to fatherhood.

She pointed out that Will thrived with Luna in prison, and Bill expressed his love for Katei and his children. Katie agreed that family was everything, and family sticking together mattered more than ever. She discussed how Electra was the ideal woman for will, and she wished they could live their young lives without the dark cloud of Luna hanging overhead. Katie proclaimed that she'd do anything for Will, but Bill recalled how she nearly paid the ultimate price to bring him into the world. As more hints about Katie's heart continued, she expressed pride in how Bill stepped up for his son as well. Bill vowed to do whatever it took to bring Will happiness, despite Luna's madness.

Will praised his father to Electra, pleased that he stocked the fridge before gifting him the new home. Electra thought being amazing was something that ran in the Spencer family. Will noticed that Electra had finally achieved some semblance of peace after the horror Luna put them through. Electra expressed relief knowing that Luna was in prison for the rest of her life, unaware of the danger that lurked toward her.

Will suggested he and Electra take a walk, and once they walked away for their stroll, Luna was revealed to be lurking in the bushes, watching their every move. Luna watched in disgust, but after seeing a random woman take an outdoor shower, she took off her prison clothing. Will and Electra returned to kick the mysterious woman off the property and shared in a loving kiss after she fled. Luna again was forced to watch from the sidelines, wishing it were her lips on Will's.

Will couldn't stop thinking about the night he had shared with Luna, but for once, Electra acknowledged he was the true victim and reassured him he had done nothing wrong. Will valued Electra's kindness, and as they kissed again, Luna grew more impatient. Electra got a message that Ivy needed her at the office immediately, and she promised to return as soon as possible. Once Electra left the beach house, Luna seized her chance and slipped inside. He returned to the living room, his heart sinking as he saw Luna. With a broad grin, Luna said, "I had to come see you, Will."
