The Bold and the Beautiful Recap, September 8, 2025: Taylor pleads with Ridge, Thomas scolds Brooke, and Luna taunts Will

What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

In the guest house, Ridge told Taylor that he didn’t intend to blindside her, but he couldn’t set a wedding date. Taylor asked if he loved Brooke more, and she was the one he wanted to spend the rest of her life with.

Ridge said he thought that being with Taylor was what he wanted. Taylor said that they had been so happy until Naples, and knew that Brooke's almost dying affected him, as well as Eric being in his head. Taylor told Ridge he couldn’t let it happen; he couldn’t let them pull them apart again.

Taylor reminded Ridge of how they reunited and all that she had been through as he helped her get better. She thought he wouldn’t have known that, and then put her through it again. “Now you’re saying you’re just going to call it off? Because of Brooke? No…I won’t let you do that, Ridge,” she told him.

Taylor said she didn’t believe that it was what he truly wanted. “I’m not walking away. Not from you, not from the family,” he said. Taylor asked what he was doing then. She told him that he let Brooke get into his head again, saying all the things to make him think it was possible for the two of them to work, but he knew that it wouldn’t.

Taylor added that Brooke will just do the same things she always does: betray, hurt, and disappoint him. Ridge said he knew how Taylor felt about Brooke, as if to tune her out. Taylor said he knew it was true, and she wasn’t a life raft for his shipwreck of a toxic relationship with Brooke. “You accepted my proposal for a reason. Because we’re parents, we’re friends, we’re lovers,” Taylor told him. She said that Brooke had led him astray too many times, and she wasn’t going to let him leave them again. “Not for Brooke,” Taylor added.

In the CEO’s office, Brooke and Thomas continued their conversation. He told her it was time for her to accept that his parents were going to get married and to move on. Brooke snickered that Taylor proposed, not Ridge, and that he still loved her.

Thomas said that Taylor and his family suffered so much over the years, and a lot of it was because of Brooke. But now, he wanted that to come to an end. “You thought you could seduce your way back into my dad’s arms, but that’s not what’s going to happen. You lost. My mom won. For good this time,” Thomas insisted.

Brooke told Thomas he wasn’t in Italy to witness the magical moment between her and Ridge. Thomas knew Brooke’s accident was difficult for his dad, but reiterated that Taylor was who Ridge wanted to be with. Brooke tried texting Ridge, but Thomas told her he wouldn’t answer her because he and Taylor were picking their wedding date.

Across the hall, Will impressed his mom with some ideas for work, but could tell that he was distracted. Will told his mom that it bothered him to keep a secret like sleeping with a mystery girl from Electra. Katie said the more she thought about that night, the angrier she got.

Will agreed, but the secret of it and the lie weren’t something he wanted to keep from Electra. He said he loved her, but he knew if she told her what happened, it could ruin everything. Katie said she’d stand by him no matter what. “But what kind of man am I if I can’t be truthful with the one I love?” Will asked.

Katie told Will that his feelings were valid, but that maybe he should let his feelings be part of his past. “Nothing’s going to come of that night,” Katie added.

Luna lay on the bed in Li’s apartment, daydreaming about having sex with Will. She didn’t even hear Li come in, who abruptly interrupted her thoughts. “I don’t like that look. What were you thinking about? Let me guess…Will Spencer?” Li scolded. Li said that Will was off limits, but Luna told her aunt that anything was possible if you want it enough.

Li reminded Luna that her freedom wasn’t secure and she didn’t need to cause any unnecessary problems. She told Luna she knew that if she didn’t stop leaning into her impulses, it could end badly. Luna seemed touched that Li cared if she wound up back in prison. “Is this your way of saying that you love me?” Luna asked hopefully. “Let’s just say you’re family, Luna,” Li replied before ranting about Poppy’s parenting. Luna said she was still hoping to be part of Finn’s life one day. Li told her she was proud of Luna and said that she had been following the rules and she might have a shot at a normal life. “A life with a guy like Will Spencer,” Luna teased.

Li wanted to know why Luna made comments like hoping that things went her way. Luna tried to brush it off, but Li zeroed in. Luna said she was trying to change and to leave it at that. Li reminded her that she was in morality boot camp and getting an overhaul to learn manners and get two jobs for a work ethic to match hers and Finn’s.

After Li left, Luna mused that if she became a Spencer, she wouldn’t have to work, then pulled out another pregnancy test from the drawer of a desk. She recalled every moment of how she tricked Will in bed and then pulled the mask out of a dresser drawer. She took a picture of it and then texted it to him from her burner phone.

In the design office alone, Will heard a notification on his phone. He looked and was shocked to see a picture of the mask. “Our secret,” it read. His mom’s words of “Nothing’s going to come of that night” rang through his head. Back at Li’s apartment, Luna held the pregnancy test and smiled.
