The Bold and the Beautiful Recap for Wednesday, January 8, 2025: Steffy and Daphne confirm their plan

At the Forrester mansion, Eric, Ridge, and Taylor discuss that they didn’t know the details about Steffy’s plan to get back Forrester. Eric didn’t like the cloak-and-dagger machinations, while Ridge knew the goal was to boot out Carter and Hope, so he didn’t care about the means. Eric said that Brooke’s actions had really riled up Steffy. They wondered what “creative” idea she had.

Eric couldn’t believe Brooke had slapped Ridge, but Taylor said Brooke was hurting. Ridge said Brooke could blame her daughter for causing the whole mess to begin with. He asked Taylor how she was doing as Brooke shoved her pretty hard. Taylor laughed and said that Brooke had done her best to hurt her over the years, but she couldn’t do it anymore.

Eric said Brooke could have hurt Taylor, and Ridge pointed out Taylor’s heart condition. Eric ranted about the takeover and how it went down. Ridge assured him they would get his company back. “Our daughter’s working on a plan to make it happen as we speak,” Taylor said. Eric noticed the fond looks between Ridge and Taylor.

Eric went for a drive, leaving Taylor and Ridge alone. Taylor was sorry that things had gotten so ugly. Ridge thought they didn’t need to worry about Steffy, she knew what she was doing. Ridge said he didn’t understand why she didn't feel like it was enough after all he’d done for Brooke at the company. He decided he didn’t want to discuss Brooke, Carter, and Hope.

Ridge wanted to talk about Taylor. He took her hands and told her how much she brought to the family and that their kids act like her, leading passionately. He thanked her for being her, and they hugged. “Something just occurred to me. We have the house to ourselves,” Ridge smiled. “What are you up to, Ridge Forrester?” Taylor asked as they smiled at one another.

At Steffy’s, Daphne Rose assured Steffy she was up to the challenge to help her regain Forrester Creations. “I guess it’s not really a challenge for you. You just have to be your irresistible self,” Steffy told her. Daphne was sure that Carter would be putty in her hands, and they toasted with champagne.

Daphne wondered if Carter and Hope would question Steffy’s return to the office. Steffy said they would, but they’d also see it as a victory and an excuse to pat themselves on the back. “Especially Hope,” Steffy added. She explained that Carter was under Hope’s spell. “Not for much longer,” Daphne smirked.

Steffy and Daphne laughed, and Carter and Hope were probably bragging to each other about how brilliant they were. Steffy told her friend she couldn’t thank her enough for helping her. “Normally, I wouldn’t drag you into this, but there’s a cancer at the top of the company. I saw the first signs a few months ago: Carter’s defense of Hope. Going on and on about her line. Carter’s a hypocrite, and behind him is a psychotic blonde named Hope Logan,” Steffy concluded. Steffy didn’t want to let them get away with it. Daphne assured her as her friend she was happy to help. “Don’t worry, Steffy. I know what to do,” she told her.

Daphne told Steffy it wouldn’t be enjoyable for her having to work with them but Steffy thought it would be worth it in the end. She could tell that Carter was already charmed, and it would only be a matter of time before the company came back to her grandfather.

In the CEO’s office, Hope and Carter marveled at how they’d attracted the biggest name in the perfume industry, and even her competition thought they should make her a deal. Hope said Daphne Rose didn’t have competition; she was simply the best. She told Carter that his plan was working.

Brooke came in, and they gushed that Carter’s plan to make Forrester a global luxury brand was off to an incredible start. “All this change…I don’t think there’ll be any coming back from it,” Brooke sighed. Hope asked if she was talking about the company — or her and Ridge.

Brooke shared that she was the one who went to Ridge in the first place because she didn’t want this division, but he didn’t believe her and turned against her. Hope noted that Ridge turned to Taylor. “You accepted work here because you care. You didn’t betray Ridge. He betrayed you,” Hope told her. Brooke divulged that she slapped Ridge.

Hope told Brooke that she and Carter didn’t want her to be caught in the middle of everything, but Brooke didn’t know where else she could be. Brooke thought she would have convinced Ridge to return, and she would’ve forgiven him for turning to Taylor. She said she went to Ridge to explain why she had taken the CEO position, but he didn’t understand. “Let me guess, he went after you for joining forces with us and then made it personal?” Hope asked.

Brooke said it was like talking to a stranger, and he made her feel like she was just another Logan and not part of his family, so she slapped Ridge and shoved Taylor. She said she didn’t want to talk about it anymore and wanted to know, as CEO, what their news was about. Carter and Hope excitedly told Brooke about Daphne Rose.

Carter asked for the CEO’s official approval to make Daphne an offer. He called her immediately to set up another appointment. He told her that she made quite the impression. “So do you, Carter Walton,” Daphne cooed. She hung up and told Steffy, “Nothing to it.” Steffy said all Daphne had to do now was reel him in.

Carter showed some numbers to Brooke on his laptop. Brooke agreed they couldn’t let Daphne get away. “House of Forrester is going to change the industry,” Hope said. She lauded Carter for his amazing idea, while Carter complimented Brooke for being a great leader. Hope thought Ridge was insecure and worried that Forrester would thrive under Brooke’s leadership. Hope said that there was no telling what the future would hold with Daphne coming on board.

Alone with her mom in the CEO’s office, Hope said that Daphne Rose was a genius. She gushed about the Forrester fragrance she had created and thought it smelled like timeless elegance. Hope could tell Brooke’s thoughts were on Ridge but said he made his choice. “He chose Taylor…again,” Brooke said. Hope said she was sorry that her choices at the company hurt Brooke.

“Ridge is the one that hurt me,” Brooke told Hope. She said that Ridge treated her like it was a crime to be a Logan. Hope said Brooke had put her love first and was trying to fight for it and was sorry that Ridge couldn’t do the same for Brooke.
