The Bold and the Beautiful's Daily Y.A.P.P. Recap, May 13: The more things change, the more they stay the same

Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

On today’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Steffy came back from Hope’s and admitted to Finn that she really did break Liam’s confidence by telling her sometimes stepsister that their ex-husband was dying. Finn couldn’t believe it and came thisclose to scolding her, but managed to teeter right on the edge of speaking his mind without upsetting his wife. It was only moments before that he had gotten off rather easily for getting caught playing Daddy Dearest to Luna right there in the same living room that Steffy thought she’d knocked off his mother. But now it was Steffy’s turn to be in the hot seat, and she just dug her heels in on how right she thought she was to blab out Liam’s secret to Hope. Steffy acknowledged that Liam didn’t want his little girls to know, and she agreed with that, but she overruled him and said that his other ex-wife should be told. Just because Hope loves Liam isn’t a reason to tell her — at least, not a reason for Steffy to tell her. So who’s next? Now that she’s broken the seal, will Steffy just pick and choose who she wants to tell in fake L.A., no matter what Liam wants? And how ironic is it that after acknowledging that he has played those two against one another for years, Liam’s brought peace to Steffy and Hope’s relationship — but he’s again in the same position of getting all of their attention.
