The Bold and the Beautiful's Daily YAPP Recap, August 14: The Logan family tree wants its branch back

Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

On The Bold and the Beautiful today, Katie heard Brooke say that she kinda sorta does actually love her fiance, but Ridge is the engaged man she really wants. So of course, Katie left work to high-tail it over to Taylor and try to undermine her confidence in her relationship. Because that’s what we do now. Or rather, that’s what Katie, Donna, and Eric do now. Their sole purpose in life lately is not only to encourage Ridge to break Taylor’s heart, but to harass Taylor. Instead of planning her wedding, Taylor should be looking for a new home. Preferably on her own, but if she has to bring Ridge along, at least get out of that mansion. Taylor talks about how Ridge being in a relationship with Brooke is toxic, but having Brooke’s posse do her bidding all day, every day, is getting too much. Not for Taylor, but for us! It’s bad enough that they spend their work days salivating over Ridge’s love life, but Eric didn’t even enjoy his trip to Italy because he was too obsessed getting his ex-wife and mother of his kids back together with his son — because although Brooke’s engaged to Ridge’s half-brother, she really wants her soul mate, who is the brother, son, and half-brother of all of her ex-husbands, baby-daddies, and in-town exes. Except Deacon, of course. He’s just Brooke’s daughter’s ex-husband that she got pregnant with while he was married to Bridget…he’s not related to Ridge, so…whew.
