Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

On The Bold and the Beautiful, Ridge took off from the hotel, desperate to save his Logan from Popeye. Granted, not minutes earlier, he just happened to find Brooke at the fountain, although he had no idea where in Italy she actually was. But since luck is the name of his game, Ridge went back to the same fountain, hoping to find Brooke there again. But alas, she was gone, so he darted off to the marina, where Eric claimed to have seen Nick holding a sparkly diamond from at least 20 boat lengths away. Luck came back when Ridge overheard two men speaking in Italian and recognized the name Marone. Wait, what? You know Nick? Dude, where’s his boat? But before Ridge could run off to his next checkpoint, Tomas took the time to do what no one in fake L.A. can normally do: he communicated, in ol’ plain English even. Tomas introduced himself, explained that he was an employee of said Nick Marone, and that he was talking to the repair guy about how the steering wheel on Nick’s boat was broken. In the amount of time it took for him to give way more information than he was asked, Nick managed to have a private chef concoct, introduce, and serve a meal to him and Brooke, eat it, and then get on his boat that Ridge wasn’t far from, and drive out of the harbor. But because SuperRidge moves at the rate of molasses, obviously he thought his next great move would be to dive into the Mediterranean to swim out and save Brooke when she inexplicably made herself roll off the stable, still boat. Does she not know how to swim or tread water? Can Nick not try to give her a hand? Oh Ridge, we thought you were all about the independent woman these days.
