The Bold and the Beautiful's Daily YAPP Recap, August 7: Laughter is the best medicine

Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

On The Bold and the Beautiful, the hospital is a curious place to be. Not only can you sneak unconscious bodies that need to be hooked up to machines in and out without being detected, but privacy and confidentiality rules need not apply. See a stranger in a doctor’s private office? Just hop on in and be a wealth of personal information. Be an uninvited guest in the hospital, sniffing around a doctor’s desk? Share your personal story with a lab tech you just met, and ask her where the bodies are. Just claiming you know someone who’s a doctor is enough to get all the details, and one would think they operated on the honor system. Except, the most esteemed doctors in the place keep forgetting their specialities (not that we know what Finn’s is) and doing the most dishonorable, dishonest things. If only a psychologist worked in the building (instead of setting up shop at a fashion house), staff and patients would probably keep her well employed. Not that we expect professionalism in this hospital, where no one seems to have any type of set schedule, but maybe a little less body snatching and a lot more ethics wouldn’t be entirely a bad thing. Although laughter is the best medicine, and picturing Li single-handedly moving post-surgery, point-blank-gunshot-wounded Luna, her bed, her monitors, and all of her supplies out of the hospital and into her apartment building does crack us up.
