Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

On The Bold and the Beautiful, Eric needs a hobby. His obsession with telling his son to break Taylor’s heart is ridiculous. For the first time in his life, Ridge actually seems like he (close your eyes, gonna jinx it by saying it) wants to remain faithful and stop bouncing back and forth between Brooke and Taylor. Has Ridge really, truly changed…like actually?? Chances are slim to none, but you have to admit he’s putting in what seems like a legit effort this time. As for Brooke, watching her be giddy like a schoolgirl with her besties is getting ridiculous. This is starting to remind me of watching Peggy Sue Got Married, and not in a good way. Eric, Katie, and Donna should be doing the non-soapiest thing ever and pointing out that their beloved Brooke is in a toxic cycle and it’s time to get off the not-so-merry-go-round once and for all. Landing in the arms of her daughter’s ex-husband probably isn’t the best second choice, but no less weird than having her own ex-husband-slash-ex-father-in-law-slash-brother-in-law do her championing. We all know it, let’s just say it. Brooke’s been married to every one of Ridge’s half and full brothers, his father, and her daughter’s husbands — whether or not any of them were divorced or available. Unless these people think “destiny” means “can’t take no for an answer,” we’re tired of hearing about it, and even more tired of the inevitable reunions. Here’s hoping Italy doesn’t let us down.
