Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

On The Bold and the Beautiful, Li did exactly what we thought she would, kinda sorta. Did we think she secretly took Luna and hid her away so she could nurse her back to health — and reform her into the woman she might have been if Li had just been nice to her or Poppy just once in 20 years? Yes. But did we think she’d be so obvious about it? Nope. It’s not like Li’s out of practice — she did the same thing with Finn years ago after Sheila shot him for the same reason Luna was after Steffy. Li probably even still had the bed and equipment from back then. But telling Finn that she, the workaholic for the last 40 years, was going to suddenly take a break, was our first clue that something was up. Well, not our first clue…when Li announced Luna’s death and claimed she’d made choices for her body and no one could see her, it was a pretty good sign something was up. But not for Finn. So Li told him today — seemingly only because he walked into her office and saw a box — that she had suddenly decided “it’s time” for her to take the first break ever of her career, and that her plan was to “read a book.” Of course, Finn had questions, but he wasn’t suspicious. Which was good because then, mid-sentence, Li popped up and claimed she had to bolt out the door. Finn still didn’t catch on so Li gave him one last clue before she left: Ominously, she told him that she had to take care of something she should have done a long time ago. Oh, if only Finn had a clue.
