The Bold and the Beautiful's Daily YAPP Recap, July 30: Heartbreak for Taylor, but amore for us

Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

On The Bold and the Beautiful, it seems as though that magical Italian air that Eric keeps raving about is having an effect on Bridge after all. But instead of hand-wringing like Taylor, we folks at home are going to watch this week with another lens: focused on the scenery. From Nick at the marina, to traveling in a convertible taxi, winding through the narrow streets and hills to even Ridge and Brooke in a speedboat going through the rocks in the Mediterranean. Eric is really wrong about a lot of things when it comes to this trip, but the magic of the Amalfi Coast isn’t one of them. B&B promised a stunning backdrop this week, and that’s exactly what we’re getting. And it doesn’t hurt to be looking at the glistening blue sea, magnificent flowers, and charming homes and shops while sitting here typing. In fact, the surroundings and location shoots are easily distracting us from wondering if Ridge is going to be easily persuaded into reuniting with Brooke, and breaking Taylor’s heart so hard that they’ll need a new name for ‘syndrome.’ But in the meantime, we can gaze out into the horizon on the water, see the gorgeous sun reflecting off the waves, and hope that Nick emerges like the circling shark Eric claims him to be, and we can sail off in our fantasies away from the ping-pong match that Bridge and Tridge are having once again.
