Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

On The Bold and the Beautiful today, Ridge and Taylor took their engagement semi-public by telling Eric they were getting married. Again. Of course, that went over like a lead balloon, although he did try to muster up some kind words about how Taylor was always part of the famjam, even if it was said rather reluctantly. Taylor then went over to Steffy’s, thinking they’d be dancing in the living room again and making sundaes, only to discover that Luna was taking the spotlight over the shine of her diamond. But Ridge decided the kind thing to do was to go tell Brooke that he was following through on the many times he told her that they were over and he was committed to Taylor. “I already know,” Brooke murmured when he came in the door. Now, let’s clarify that visual. No, Ridge didn’t go to Brooke’s home, or even call her to meet her somewhere. Nope, he waltzed into the Forrester Creations CEO’s office to have the conversation. And why wouldn’t he? After all, the majority of their relationship was spent there, and who doesn’t want to deal with life-altering personal stuff at the office, where all of your employees can hear you sob, have mascara run to your chin, and stumble out the door? Of course, Ridge told her there — it was the CEO’s office, ironically the position she took during the coup that caused their breakup to begin with. But when Brooke still insisted she had no idea that he was committed to Taylor, I wish he’d put it in a memo and sent it to her in writing so she’d remember. Instead, he told her goodbye and then left her in his office, to go…somewhere. Because no one in fake L.A. actually works.
