The Bold and the Beautiful's Daily YAPP Recap, May 21: Will, Zende, and Electra, the new Forrester advisors

Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

On The Bold and the Beautiful, Daphne was in the design office, reflecting on telling Carter that he was better off without Hope. Whether you like Daphne or not, you can't fault her logic here. Even Liam is better off without Hope. So, in the middle of the thought train that had put a sad, contemplative look on Daphne's face, in walked The Odd Throuple. It’s like the start of a good joke…”So a lead designer, an intern, and a jewelry designer’s assistant walked into an office…” There might not be a punchline, but there was definitely a chuckle out of me. Zende and his posse came to pitch an idea of making a fragrance that would, um, be about gems and what they might smell like. Daphne didn't want to play mock Shark Tank at the office, not unless Hope was in it. But speaking of her nemesis, Will knew that Daphne seemed upset, so he asked her if she knew Hope was coming back to work, and her hope for a future with Carter was over. Zende knew what was up, but he, Will, and Electra continued to wonder why Daphne wasn’t purring demure insults at Hope and willing her to stay away from Car-terrrr. Then Will, the intern, suggested to Daphne, the owner and director, and world-renowned nose, how to get along with her new coworker. What is going on at Forrester? Oddly, batched characters talking to people they would normally report to on how to behave in their personal and professional lives? We’d ask HR, but the director of that department was too busy across the hall, telling the CEO to leave his girlfriend for her sister.
