The Bold and the Beautiful's Daily YAPP Recap, May 23: Au revoir, mon cheri, and mon dieu for the rest of us

Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

Breaking up is hard to do, but on The Bold and the Beautiful, Carter is better at leading Daphne on than cutting things off. After months of keeping La Nose at lip’s length, just in case he needed a backup plan, Carter finally told Daphne, softly, that she was no longer needed as Hope’s understudy. After recanting all the complaints that he’d had about Hope breaking his heart, turning on him when she didn’t get what she wanted, and claiming she was thinking about Liam again, Carter had a new perspective. Of course, he couldn’t tell Daphne that Liam was dying, but he seemingly did as Hope asked and put all the other issues in the past, never to be thought about again. But the most jaw-dropping moment was not when he told her that everything that happened was a misunderstanding and he and Hope would be stronger for it (ouch), but it was Daphne herself. What happened to the French seductress who sauntered into Forrester months ago, the femme fatale who was wanted by every man in Paris, the one who seemed to eat them for breakfast and tossed them aside? Somehow, being around Car-terrrr and Hope sucked the life out of Madamoiselle Rose, along with her confidence. Not sure anyone in Paris would even recognize her — if she goes back.
