The Bold and the Beautiful's Daily YAPP Recap, May 27: Finn drops hints to Kelly that her dad's going to die

Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

On The Bold and the Beautiful, Liam’s been lucky to have Finn step up to the plate and be a good friend. Personal advisor? Not so much. When Dr. Grace Buckingham messaged Finn to ask for an update on Liam, he should have passed the message on immediately. Dr. Buckingham’s text said that Liam’s time was running out, but Liam seemed to think he had more of it to make up his mind, or at least focus on himself rather than trying to repair Hope’s love life. I get it, he’s thinking he should get everyone’s life in order for them before he leaves them, but he could do that and get some real medical advice, couldn’t he? Finn’s already resigned to the fact that Liam’s going to die, and isn’t encouraging him to try treatment, get another opinion, or do anything proactive to slow down the inevitable — to the point that he even butted in to correct Kelly about her daddy always being there. “Things change, kiddo. People leave. Libbity Bibbity,” he chimed in for no apparent reason. Then, while Liam’s lamenting that he doesn’t know how to tell his kids, Finn offers up Steffy’s help instead of his own. Not that we disagree with that after his previous attempt at “helping,” but c’mon Finn. He’s wearing a few hats right now — friend, doctor, husband, step-father — but he’s necessarily fashionable in all of them, even with his shirt off.
