The Bold and the Beautiful's Daily YAPP Recap, May 28: Mum's the word, but Mom isn't

Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

On The Bold and the Beautiful, Hope and Carter spent the morning basking in the glory of their engagement. Yesterday, Hope dropped by Carter’s loft during her workday and wound up being surprised by a marriage proposal. She spent the night so they could celebrate and get all caught up in their own little world. In the morning, over coffee, they talked about how happy they were and anticipated Brooke, Steffy, and Ridge’s reactions to the news. That’s all good and fine, but clearly, Liam is far from Hope’s mind. All that crying and worrying was so…yesterday. Today’s a whole new day, and the only thing on Hope’s mind is Hope. Beth who? We already know she’s not with Liam or Brooke, so who’s taking care of her, and why wasn’t she a concern when considering Carter’s proposal? Sometimes Hope really makes me wonder if what Ridge says about his kinda sorta off-and-on stepdaughter is a little bit true, at least when it comes to thinking about herself? Carter even mentioned having other kids one day to Ridge, Brooke, and Steffy and she still didn’t gasp “OMG Beth!” and then go running off to find her. Maybe when they’re done complimenting each other, swearing their dedication, and kissing for their audience of three, they’ll remember that somewhere, Beth is waiting to be picked up from daycare…since yesterday.
