Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

On The Bold and the Beautiful, the Ridge reversal is confusing to watch. We have spent decades dissing the guy for not being able to commit, and watching him getting lightly scolded by his family for it, too. But now, Ridge seems like…seems like…he actually wants to try something new: monogamy. And he’s getting nothing but mocked for it — and rightfully so. There isn’t anyone in real L.A. or the fake Forrester one that could possibly have faith in Ridge’s ability to stay put with either Taylor — or Brooke, for that matter. But what’s really remarkable is everyone’s lack of concern for Taylor. Eric lives with Taylor, treats her like his daughter-in-law, and tells her how happy he is for her reunion with Ridge. He certainly didn’t mind her support when Brooke was running their company during the coup, and even said that Brooke had finally lost his shine. But now he calls her a distant “Taylor Hayes,” as if he barely knows her, and told Ridge we all know the ending here, so hop to it already. Today, Ridge even pleaded with Brooke to help him keep his commitment by not hitting on him all day every day. Brooke was so worried Taylor would do that to her when she came to town, and she certainly has an issue when Daphne is hitting on the very single Carter, just so he can hold a placecard for Hope. But Taylor, who? It’s like they want her to have Broken Heart Syndrome again.
