Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

On The Bold and the Beautiful today, Eric was panic-stricken as reality set in. Now that Brooke and Ridge are married, how is he going to spend his day? There was no prodding needed, no urging for a reunion, no whispering in Ridge’s ear about destiny. Heck, he didn’t even need to assure his son that there’s nothing wrong with putting your own needs first, no matter how reckless you are with other people’s feelings. He didn’t even have to worry that Ridge would waffle on this fine Tuesday, because Ridge not only put a ring on it, but he added a ball and chain. And with that, Eric’s to-do list was complete. Bored, he realized that there was one thing that was definitely not his place to involve himself in, so of course he did it: Eric went to one of his many new guesthouses to tell Taylor that Ridge was not only back with Brooke, but they got engaged married. Nothing like letting her breathe for a sec after Ridge walked out on her, taking her heart with him, then driving over it on the way to Forrester Creations to chase after his destiny. Eric apparently didn’t feel the job was complete until he was the one who confirmed her worst fears. But better than that, Eric added in some nostalgia, or in this case, alternative facts. Did you know that Ridge has only had two major relationships that meant anything to him? Caroline would like a word. Considering it was because of Caroline dying that Taylor even met Ridge, all she could do is stare at Eric and say, “Wow.” We concur.
