Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

On The Bold and the Beautiful today, Thomas visited Eric, and Katie and Brooke kept doing anything but work. But in both conversations, the level of irony was overwhelming. Eric told Thomas that although it was important to his grandson to have Ridge and Taylor reunite, it was not his responsibility to make it happen. Read that again. Across the hall, Katie was basically saying the same thing about how Thomas would likely pressure Ridge to marry Taylor, but that he needed to butt out and let Ridge do what he wanted. Huh? Where was this logic the last few months when Katie not only tried to mock Ridge to his face about keeping a commitment for once, but went to Taylor near daily to rub it in her face that Ridge would dump her for her big sister. Speaking of Italy, Eric spent the whole time running around monitoring Brooke and Nick, then reporting Ridge what he saw and thought, and pressuring him to make a decision when he already had. It’s annoying to finally see Ridge try to do the right thing and not realize he’s surrounded by hypocrisy. If only there were a psychologist handy to give everyone an analysis.
