Brooke explained to Ridge that she was outside of Hope’s cabin and overheard Hope and Carter talking in detail about how they had tricked Ridge and Steffy into signing away the company. Ridge noted that he did see Carter’s signature on the LLC paperwork but trusted his best friend implicitly. Brooke was absolutely sure that Carter was pulling a coup. As the news sunk in, Ridge was devastated. He called over Justin Barber to look at the paperwork and help fix the situation. Justin left with a copy of the LLC papers and said it could be more serious than Ridge realized. Meanwhile, Ridge summoned Carter, who was hanging out with Hope. Ridge told Carter that he knew all about the coup attempt and it wasn’t going to work. Ridge told Carter that Hope had gotten into his head and he wasn’t thinking straight. Carter was shocked when Ridge told him that they could put the takeover issue behind them if Carter dumped Hope. Brooke told Hope that she heard everything and knew about the coup. Hope lost it when she realized that Ridge knew as well and that Carter was in a meeting with him. Remy talked to Electra at Il Giardino, and they have been caught up about their lives since being in their hometown. Electra was happy to see an old friend, and Remy told her he had moved to L.A. to be near her. Electra confided in Ivy why she moved to L.A. Someone had used A.I. to alter her photos into looking like she had taken vulgar pics. The photos were distributed, and Electra was humiliated. Ivy promised to protect her from anything bad happening again. Electra worried about what Will would think. Remy talked to Deacon about getting a job at Il Giardino. Deacon hired him and gave him an apartment to live in.
