Now that The Bold and the Beautiful's Katie has decided to leave Forrester Creations and accept the fashion house Bill gifted her, it feels like the B&B writers are paving the way for what could be a truly epic episode. That episode could be a stand-alone one that involves a dramatic confrontation between Ridge and Bill.
The battle between Ridge and Bill on The Bold and the Beautiful

We know that the moment Katie leaves FC on The Bold and the Beautiful, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) is going to march right over to Spencer Publications and bark, "Spencer, what the hell have you done?" Bill (Don Diamont) visited FC a week or two ago and accused Ridge of undervaluing Katie's public relations skills. But Ridge didn't listen. Now that she's decided to leave FC, he will have to listen. This is going to be a stinging wake-up call for Ridge.
B&B doesn't usually feature stand-alone episodes that spotlight one or two characters, but Kaye and Diamont are veteran soap actors who need to carry an entire episode together so we can see their talent shine. After all, their characters have a lot of vitriol to unpack. The bad blood between them has existed for over fifteen years.
Even though they've fought about Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Bill's niece Caroline (Linsey Godfrey), and even Katie herself, maybe these two enemies have other rants they'd like to get off their chests -- things that have been festering inside of them for years. For example, maybe Ridge has never gotten over the fact that Bill ordered his pal Justin (Aaron D. Spears) to toss him out of a helicopter. And perhaps Bill would like to remind Ridge that he made that order immediately after Ridge stopped Brooke from marrying him, showing her a photo of Bill in bed with Quinn (Rena Sofer).
Just imagine what would have happened if Bill had been around in B&B's early years, when Ridge (then played by Ronn Moss) was married to Bill's sister, Caroline (Joanna Johnson). Bill would have blown his top, having Ridge for a brother-in-law. Caroline was very much in love with Ridge, and Bill would have scratched his head and wondered what in the world she saw in "the dressmaker." We can only imagine the heated arguments the Spencer siblings would have had over Ridge, with Bill repeatedly telling Caroline, "He's not good enough for you!"
Ridge should have attended Liam and Hope's wedding

The Bold and the Beautiful's Ridge and Bill are both infuriating at times, but here's something that needs to be said about Ridge: he is a big baby. His only reason for skipping Liam's (Scott Clifton) and Hope's (Annika Noelle) wedding was because Bill was there. Seriously? Couldn't Ridge put on his big-boy pants and find a way to make nice with Bill for a few hours, for Brooke's sake?
She's the mother of the bride, and Ridge is her husband, which means Hope is now his step-daughter (again). He should have done the right thing and accompanied Brooke, just as Eric (John McCook) should have accompanied Donna (Jennifer Gareis). This was a Logan wedding. Ridge and Eric are married to Logan women, so their presence was needed. This is coming from someone who is not even a Logan fan, but what's right is right. No wonder Bill has no respect for Ridge. He once asked Ridge, "What is your definition of a man? Because honestly, I can't imagine how you can even call yourself one. You're just a little boy."
Bill and Deacon (Sean Kanan) don't like each other either, but somehow, they managed to put their differences aside and be civil at the wedding. So, why couldn't Ridge be mature enough to go to the wedding and do the same?
If Ridge can't even handle being in the same room with Bill at a family affair, then how in the world is he going to handle the news about Bill giving Katie her own fashion house? We can only imagine that he's going to go ballistic.
Spencer vs. Forrester fashion wars

Now that Katie has accepted Bill's gift, The Bold and the Beautiful fans are anticipating Spencer vs. Forrester fashion wars. Some time during those wars, we need to see an epic face-off between Ridge and Bill like none we've ever seen before. Many fans believe that Bill had two reasons for giving her the gift. Yes, he wants Katie to have a brighter future at a company where her talent will be appreciated. But Bill most likely also did it so he could hit Ridge where it hurts. Dollar Bill has delivered the ultimate sucker punch. Ridge never saw it coming. We need to see his dramatic retaliation. So, B&B writers, bring it on! We're here for it.
B&B fans would have loads of fun watching these two men engage in a knock-down-drag-out war of words. We've already seen them physically assault each other over the years, so we don't need to watch any more of that. Words are much more powerful. So let's get Dollar Bill Spencer and Ridge Forrester alone in a room together and watch them verbally duke it out in a special, stand-alone episode that we will never forget. And let the best man win.
