The Bold and the Beautiful YAPP Recap, August 5: The Forresters in Italy

Welcome to the The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What is even happening in Italy with Brooke and her three ex-husbands, who are a combination of father, son, and half-brothers? First, we must address Eric and Ridge's attire. Why was Ridge wearing a button-down with a suit vest to drive a motorboat, and how did he not get soaking wet? Also, why was Eric wearing a ski vest to wander around Naples in August? For paragons of fashion in Italy to promote their fashion, one would think these two dressmakers would have a little more sense. Meanwhile, Brooke was roaming around Naples in a sundress while Ridge was chasing after her in long sleeves. How did Ridge even find Brooke? Instinct? Destiny? A magnet? We have no idea, but boy was Eric hopping mad. After nearly plunging himself into the ocean after spotting Nick holding an engagement ring from about a mile away, he couldn't wait to tell Donna the news. Yes, she called him, but instead of asking his wife how she was and catching up on things at home, he told a shocked and horrified Donna that Nick was about to propose to her sister, so she wouldn't have to pine for Ridge anymore and be heartbroken the next time he leaves her for Taylor. Oh no! How could that be? What a horrible fate for Brooke to be with a man who loves her and only her. What will The Bold and the Beautiful and Italy bring on Tuesday? Maybe some answers to these eternal questions.
