Welcome to the The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

Yes, Taylor, Brooke is going to Italy with Ridge, just the way Eric likes it. But Taylor is sooo confident in Ridge's feelings for her that she needs him to choose a wedding date before he leaves. Honestly, who is Taylor reassuring when she tells anyone who will listen that she has more faith in Ridge and their relationship than ever before? She's certainly not fooling anyone she talks to, except maybe Steffy. She's definitely not fooling us. The only person she seems to need to fool is herself. That confidence she purports is faker than some of the news we've been reading over the last 10 years. We are not sure who is more pathetic these days — Taylor or Brooke? Taylor was the more desperate one on the July 15th episode, where she once again followed Ridge around like a lost puppy. She had a quick convo about Brooke going to Italy with Eric and Ridge, and then hightailed it to Forrester Creations to tell Ridge she had complete faith in him, but can you pencil in a date before packing your bags? Ridge's surprise at the request should have been enough for Taylor. Yes, he is honoring his commitment to you, but that's all he is doing. It is so clear that Ridge has no desire to marry Taylor, and it's also clear that Taylor can see that and just doesn't care.
