The Bold and the Beautiful YAPP Recap, July 17: Um, did Liam even have a tumor?

Welcome to the The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

Something fishy is going on in our fictional Los Angeles soap opera world, and Dr. Grace Buckingham has a whole lot of explaining to do. The entire Liam situation over the last three episodes has been beyond weird and leaves us scratching our heads. First, the surgery Liam had was all wrong and bizarre. Why was there no oxygen and no anesthesiologist? And why was Grace performing the surgery? She also seemed much more concerned with getting her hands on a cool million than she did with Liam's life. Miracle of miracles, as soon as Bill wired that money, Liam suddenly had a lovely and glowing prognosis. Plus, how strange was it that Liam just had experimental brain surgery and was allowed to just go home and recover at Bill's place? This all begs the question: Did Liam even have a brain tumor at all? It was Grace who gave Liam his diagnosis. We never even saw the members of the neuro team she kept consulting with. Finn and Bridget once looked over some scans, but were they fake? Could Grace have even been giving Liam medication that affected his eyesight? Liam's situation has just become a whole lot more puzzling, and Grace may hold the answers. The problem is we now see that she could be as shady as her baby-switching, gambling addict ex-husband.
