Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

Today on The Bold and the Beautiful, everyone got down to business. Just kidding, it was another day at the office filled with personal problems and lust. In the design office, Katie and Brooke complained that working conditions were back to being meh because Brooke had to contend with Steffy and “the mother.” Brooke and Katie didn’t like it that Taylor could just drop by any ol’ time she wanted to and make her presence known. Who does Taylor think she is, acting like the co-CEO’s partner? She may live with him and Eric, but she should not consider herself welcome in their office. Katie called Ridge’s common-law spouse and daughter mere “obstacles” and encouraged Brooke to steamroll them to get him back. It seems safe to assume that Carter never brought a shoe company under the Forrester Creations umbrella when he was focused on global luxury brands by way of mergers and acquisitions. If so, maybe someone would realize they’re all on the other foot now. It’s amazing what an uproar each of them was in just a couple of weeks ago about important issues like respecting relationships, having their own offices, and keeping their personal lives out of Forrester. But when it’s happening (again) to them, it’s a different story. It’s so hard for Brooke; she was even considering quitting, but Katie reminded her that she came up with the BeLieF formula all on her own…back in 1993. I’m not sure how that relates to her feelings today about working with Ridge and Steffy, but it was yet another example of the Logans (like almost everyone else) needing some new material to design their lives with. Maybe when Nick comes to town, he can shift some Logans over to a Jackie M-ish rival, and they can start creating new accomplishments to feel better about themselves and get some real hope for the future.
