Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

On The Bold and the Beautiful, we’re still in the weird aftermath bubble of time post-fashion show, where everyone’s moved on to a new day, except Daphne, who is still wearing the same outfit as the day before and apparently never left Forrester overnight. Eric got up early and went to Brooke’s before she even got dressed, and Steffy came over to see her parents and talk business, with not a thought of Liam in her head. Amazingly, Carter is so taken by Ridge’s constant praise and Daphne’s scent that he forgot Will was the intern. But what truly has my head spinning is that Ridge — who we’ve wanted for years, if not decades — to grow up and stop womanizing, is trying his damndest to do just that, and no one will let him. Just when the guy finds some Zen, balances his chakras, and remembers that people he claims to care about have hearts that can break, his dad becomes his ex’s champion (his ex meaning Ridge, although she’s Eric’s, too…it’s complicated). Eric went from saying that Brooke lost her shine finally to plotting with the Logan sisters to get Ridge and Brooke back together. Why? He may claim to “know his son,” but what does that say? Does Eric prefer the Ridge that carelessly bounces back and forth between women, and is determined to make it happen again? Why not be happy that Ridge doesn’t want Brooke’s drama and wants to commit to Taylor for the rest of his life? There must be another reason for this than just thinking he knows what’s best. Maybe Eric’s summer line will be haute couture #TeamBrooke designer t-shirts.
