Hope has always been there for Liam, and more so after he finally told her about his accident and the resulting discovery of the brain tumor. Hope’s words of encouragement and the resilience in putting up with all of Liam’s negativity have given the audience the most impactful scenes of Liam’s arc and have made ‘Hiam’ fans root for the two more than ever before, with fans changing that Liam deserves a Romantic plot before his final send-off.
Loony Luna (June 17, 2025)
One of the craziest plots to dawn the screens while the tumult of Liam’s diagnosis continues to devastate characters and fans alike was the plot revolving around Luna and her periodic psychotic break, which implied that she might be going down a truly dark path to seek her vengeance. Fans speculate that Liam, planning his heroic outro, might go down protecting Steffy’s life. Luna had a full-blown psychotic breakdown after receiving yet another dismissal and rejection from her father, Finn, Steffy’s husband, who keeps on stalking both Steffy and little Hayes, which has already resulted in many close calls. The episode that aired on Wednesday, June 11th, left fans emotionally wrecked when, in a soul-crushing scene, Hope Logan sat down with Liam Spencer to talk to him about his impending degenerative condition and the sad conclusion that Liam has decided for himself by refusing to confide in others, who care deeply for him, about his illness. Hope makes up her mind and implores Liam to share his burden with the people he loves. She urges and encourages him to do this so that his family can support and help him in his time of utmost need for human connection.
Liam is truly blessed to have Hope beside him and for all she has done for him. He is definitely not going to let her heartfelt request go to nothing. However, it is apparent that this scene is so impactful and does an incredible job of showing the devastating nature that such real-life horrors can imply for an individual and their loved ones.
If you love someone, let them go (May 16, 2025)
Liam pushes Hope into reconciling her relationship with Carter, as Liam knows he won't be able to be there for her for long. Showing his true love for Hope, Liam understands it is much less harsh to let her go than tp watch her devastation as he slowly fades away as his illness takes over. However, Hope, who has always used Carter rather than actually love him, sees herself slowly start to feel things for Liam again, despite his insistence that she should go back to Carter.
Wyatt’s reveal (May 20, 2025)

Due to his brain tumor, Liam’s memory has been confusing and intriguing at the same time, not just for him but for the audience as well. His brain injury triggered a memory in Liam’s mind from a time when he was experiencing Partial amnesia. Even though he later gained back his memories, parts of them were completely buried and are being brought up due to recent developments. The memory of Quinn telling him that Wyatt is not Bill’s biological son came rushing back to him, which snowballed into a series of both heartbreaking and wholesome moments between the connected characters, especially between Bill and Wyatt.
