Welcome to the Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on Days of our Lives

Cat Greene got off to a fascinating start in Salem when she first arrived on the scene last year. Of course, we didn't know her name was Cat, and she was posing as the dead Abigail DiMera, so that made her a little more interesting. Then, her plot was revealed, and Cat became...boring, oh, so boring. How many more times can we watch Cat be awkward around Chad and giggle nervously whenever his name is brought up? We admit that Cat and Chad are kinda cute together, but absolutely nothing has happened between them, and we're pretty sure nothing ever will. With Billy Flynn leaving Days of our Lives and Chad gone in a few months, Cat is going to need to change direction, and it looks like that is already happening. Cat got to know EJ a little better on May 13th in some cute chem-test scenes. While he is with Belle at the moment, we all know that won't last once she learns he really was behind the Arnold-Rafe debacle. However, EJ wasn't the only change for Cat. By the end of the episode, she got a call from a mysterious someone, which did not make her happy. A nervous Cat told the person to never call again and leave her alone. And that is what Cat has needed — an actual storyline. Now, maybe the character can have some longevity.
