Welcome to the Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

For the last 40 or so years, Days of our Lives fans have heard just how amazing Caroline Brady's clam chowder is. She served it to happy customers in the Brady Fish Market all those years ago. When the fish market morphed into The Brady Pub, Caroline's famous chowder became the eatery's signature menu item. Salemites have been hitting the pub for years for chowder takeout, which was what Nicole had just ordered before the car accident that left her giving birth on the side of the road. Our favorite characters will do anything for a cup of Caroline's chowder, except apparently Gabi Hernandez. Yes, Gabi dropped the truth bomb nobody has wanted to say or hear since the 1980s. Caroline's cup 'o chowder is not everyone's cup 'o tea and wasn't acceptable for her $15K date with Alex. Yes, you heard that right. Gabi doesn't like the Brady Pub clam chowder. She feels it's too salty and the clams taste like they come from a can. When we heard her say those words, our first thought was "BLASPHEMY!" Then, we burst out laughing cause leave it to Gabi to say something other Salemites may have been thinking for years, but were afraid to voice. Could this criminal confession land Gabi back in Statesville? How will Ariana feel when she returns in a few weeks and learns her mother does not like Great Grandma Caroline's chowder?!?!? Gabi is going to have a whole lot of explaining to do.
