Welcome to the Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on Days of our Lives

Welp, Sarah was right. She was sure that if Xander learned that Philip forged that letter from Victor, his temper would take over, and Philip could end up a dead man. It took a few weeks, and that's exactly what happened. While Philip will survive this incident, Xander did indeed turn violent, but Sarah still refuses to get her own self in trouble. After all, her sweet and light mother told her to just keep lying. (Maggie, for SHAME!) Amazingly, Sarah somehow realized that being angry at Xander for not telling her why he really wanted to buy the hospital was a bit hypocritical. But then there was Maggie again, whispering in Sarah's ear that one lie is more useful than another lie. So, here's what we're sure is going to happen. Philip said Sarah's name when Xander wondered who else Philip talked into keeping his secret. And Sarah is the one treating Philip. Jada and Kate already told her that they suspect Xander is the one who beat Philip. So, Xander and Sarah are both keeping secrets from one another and will likely dance around the subject while they each look at the other suspiciously for weeks, while we sigh and roll our eyes in our living rooms. And around and around we go. Maybe someone will start blaming poor, innocent Maggie for this mess. It's always the sweet old ladies who want to tell the big lies, right?
