Welcome to the Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on Days of our Lives
Leo Stark might not be everyone's cup of tea, but he is our cup of tea. There is rarely a moment that he does not make us laugh. When he is not giving us a chuckle, he can actually be quite tender and charming. On May 20, we got both versions of Leo. At one time, Chad could not stand Leo, but then he gave him a job, and Leo started to grow on him. When Chad needs a laugh, he always knows that Leo can provide one. Leo did just that when he drank a concentrated coffee that gave him a caffeine jolt like no other. Neither Chad nor the audience knew what the heck Leo was talking about as he went a mile a minute explaining his stories, and that's okay. We suspect it was a lot of improvisation on Greg Rikaart's part, showing just how well he knows his character. However, when Leo met with Javi at the Brady Pub later on, the caffeine had worn off, and he had calmed down, becoming the strong and supportive boyfriend there to listen to his man. That's when Leo's humanity came out, showing us the multilayered character we have watched grow and develop over the last seven years. Leo is no longer a caricature, but a full-fledged character, even if half the town still can't stand him. (To be fair, he still does shady things.)
