Welcome to the Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on Days of our Lives

Welp, it's over between Xander and Sarah once again on Days of our Lives. While we know their breakup won't last forever since they are one of the most popular pairs the show has seen over the last few years, for now, this marriage is kaput. Sarah was most definitely wrong for not telling Xander about the forged letter for months, but her reasoning was spot on. Maybe. She feared that Xander would try to kill Philip if he knew the truth, but maybe if she had told him the truth months ago, he wouldn't have. Look how he waited weeks and then finally snapped when he learned that Philip stole the Versavix. However, Sarah pointed out that she may have lied, but she didn't beat anyone to within an inch of his life. In the end, Xander made his own choice and needs to own up to that. The weird part of their little confrontation came when Sarah still tried to play dumb when Xander told her that he knew she had lied. Was she planning to still try to get away with her lies in an effort to save her marriage despite knowing that her husband nearly killed his brother? That would make Sarah a tad hypocritical. She also knew that Xander tried to kill Brady multiple times last year and still forgave him. But the second Xander was angry at her indiscretion, she kicked him out. Yes, Sarah and Xander certainly belong together in the end. Their lack of self-awareness makes them the perfect match.
