Welcome to the Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on Days of our Lives

Bo Brady's return story is already falling flat because of how silly and ridiculous it is. Of course, failing Salem University Hospital has the one lab and one doctor in the world developing a cure for sepsis, a very silly and real infection. How miraculous! And, of course, the doctor won't give up his drug without it being tested to use Bo as a guinea pig. As expected, Shawn and Steve want to steal the drug, while Kayla is all in on helping. Yet, they have no idea what the dosage would be, how many times Bo would need to be given the meds, and at what intervals. They're just going to fly blind with an untested cure, cause why not? Equally silly is all this concern about Bo from characters who have barely uttered his name in 10 years. Since when has Johnny ever mentioned Bo, much less cared about him, to get an entire scene talking about his mother's uncle, with whom he's never even shared a scene? Why would Shawn think that Johnny would even care? Until 2023, Bo had been dead for nearly eight years when some Salemites suddenly learned he had been cryogenically thawed during that time and recently thawed out like a common Han Solo. Nobody even blinked in Salem when they learned he was alive, but now, he is comatose because Shawn shot him. Now, everyone seems to care, so it better be worth it this time. We are supposed to get Bo and Hope's happy ending, and we expect Days of our Lives not to disappoint, despite how this story is starting out.
