Welcome to the Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on Days of our Lives

Who didn't know that Julie would end up buying that bookstore in Horton Town Square when she learned it was going out of business? While she hasn't made up her mind to buy it yet, Chad planted the seed in her head, so we know it's coming. While we applaud Days of our Lives' effort to give the soap's matriarch and recent widow a new focus in life that will keep her at the forefront of Salem life, we can't help but to recall all of Julie's other business ventures through the years. She was an antique store owner, ran an interior decorating business, owned a nightclub that doubled as a ski lodge, opened up a bed and breakfast several years back, and reopened her nightclub after the bed and breakfast failed. She owned most of these businesses with Doug, but now she will be on her own. However, this could end up being a lot of fun. If Julie moves her book club into her new bookstore, DAYS could even recreate one of its most epic episodes in which Julie's book club members ingested marijuana-laced donuts and had a grand old time. Just imagine our favorite Salem ladies in Julie's bookstore reading One Stormy Night after indulging in some donuts. With the soap now streaming and not on network TV, anything can happen at Julie's new book club.
