Days of our Lives Daily YAPP Recap, July 23: Sophia hands Tate an AI daughter

Welcome to the Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on Days of our Lives

Welp, Sophia finally put her plan (or at least Melinda's plan) into action and told a heartbroken Tate that she gave birth to their daughter and gave her away before he even had a chance to lay eyes on her. Sophia seemed a little surprised about Tate's emotional reaction to learning that he'd never see his child, but it looks like Melinda made sure he could at least think he saw her. Since Sophia has just been following Melinda's lead, we're sure she is the one who gave Sophia the stock photo of a lovely couple holding a newborn girl, which looked like it was straight out of central AI casting. The photo was so unnatural that we're amazed Brady didn't recognize how "professional" it was, considering all his years running a publishing company. But, Tate and Brady fell for it, hook, line, and sinker. Tate accepted that Sophia found a good home for their baby and trusted that she made the right decision, no matter how hurt he was. Sophia breathed a sigh of relief, but how long does she think she can pull this pointless lie off? If only Sophia had heard Tate telling Brady he knew that he was nowhere near ready to be a father just yesterday. Maybe she wouldn't have left her baby boy at the firehouse before telling him her bald-faced lie.
