Welcome to the Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

So, just who is Stephanie Johnson, and how did she turn out this way? Some of us still remember when she was born. Kayla was in prison at the time after being falsely accused of murdering Marina Toscano, so maybe it was those unusual beginnings that gave Stephanie a wild imagination — and a penchant toward the wild in real life. Apparently, "One Stormy Night" is autobiographical, something Steve and Kayla would be surprised — and mortified — to learn, considering that Kayla picked up a few bedroom tips from the book. Now, we know that Philip recognized some of the scenes, so he was easily able to tell who wrote this steamy novel. Kate didn't need to know that about her son, and Kayla doesn't need to learn this about his daughter. If Chad gets a look at what Titan-DiMera is publishing, will he also quickly be able to deduce who the author really is? What about Max Brady? Might he give Stephanie a call after the book release and wonder if his ex is an author now? Stephanie has also revealed that several more men inspired her scenes from her time living out west. When Days of our Lives did Body and Soul, all we could do was cringe. But "One Stormy Night?" We want to know more...
