Days of our Lives Daily YAPP Recap, July 8: Alex and Stephanie — Yay or Nay?

Welcome to the Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on Days of our Lives

Alex finally said it — those three little words, which means that he and Stephanie are in love and now more than official. It also took three years to get there but they might have finally landed in the right place. During these three years, Stephanie and Alex have both had failed romances that never really seemed right. Stephanie had moved in with Chad, while Alex had nearly married Theresa, but now they finally seem to be in love. When Alex declared his feelings while sitting in the park in the dark, it was the most genuine we had ever seen the character. For the first time, we actually felt like Alex and Stephanie could be a true couple to root for instead of just a superficial pair on another pit stop until they find the right one. It was clear Days of our Lives wanted to pair Alex and Stephanie back in 2022. Now we wonder why the heck it ever took so long. Not only are they sweet and funny, but they can also be very sexy. In fact, it's been interesting to see just how sexual Steve and Kayla's little girl can be, considering the steamy romance novel she wrote. It's been a while since DAYS has had a real millennial couple to watch, but we might finally be there with Alex and Stephanie. And let's not forget, Joy is out there pregnant with Alex's baby...
