Days of our Lives Daily YAPP Recap, June 4: The circle of life in Salem

Welcome to the Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on Days of our Lives

The Brady family reunion Days of our Lives fans experienced on June 4, 2025, were possibly some of the most heartwarming and heartbreaking scenes we have seen on soaps in years. As Bo learned what had happened during the 10 years he had been gone, it was a stark reminder to us how much we, as soap fans, have lost over the last decade. The circle of soap life on screen and off was brought home as Bo learned that Victor and Doug had both passed away. His tears and devastation were as real as when they first happened for us, because for Bo, the devastation was fresh and new. However, Bo also saw new life when he met his grandson and granddaughter for the first time. Ciara brought Little Bo and Addie to meet her dad for sweet family moments that make soaps so special. Later, when Bo was resting, Shawn finally delivered a blow to a jubilant Hope. He had to tell her that John had died. Hope's joy turned to shock, horror, and sheer devastation as she fell into her son's arms. To top this day of life and death off, Marlena said words that many widows and widowers never want to say: She will now have to learn to do things on her own. And so is the circle of life on soaps, a mirror of the real lives that we live.
