Welcome to the Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

A few weeks ago, we thought we were saved from seeing that odd pink apartment ever again, but now Johnny and Chanel live there, and it looks like this awful apartment is there for the foreseeable future. We get that Johnny and Chanel finally needed their own place to live rather than living with their respective parents, but there are other unused apartments in Salem at the moment if Days of our Lives didn't want to build a whole new set for them. What about Xander's old place? That was certainly big enough. Heck, they could have even moved into the Hernandez boarding house, since everyone else seems to live in Rafe's home at the moment. Since Abe and Paulina's new place just looks like John and Marlena's place with different furniture, they could have just redecorated the same set and moved Johnny and Chanel into the same building. Instead, we are stuck with this odd little apartment, not fitting of a DiMera heir who should have plenty of money. Chanel also owns her own business and is the daughter of a successful, wealthy business owner who also never belonged in that weird apartment that is nothing but an eyesore. Maybe they should just throw a fresh coat of paint on the walls, so at least it doesn't look like a tiny brothel that Johnny and Chanel desperately seem to want to call home.
