Days of our Lives Daily YAPP Recap, May 30: Sami's boys share a moment

Welcome to the Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on Days of our Lives

It was another day of returns on Days of our Lives as Eric and Will made their way back to Salem to be there for John. Marlena called all of their children and grandchildren and asked them to come home because it appeared the end was near for John, but one return resulted in a very necessary scene between Sami's two sons. Sami's flight was delayed, so she had not made it back yet, but her sons shared a reunion that didn't 100 per cent focus on John. We never even knew that Will was aware of how his brother came to be, and how his twin brother and sister had two different fathers. Johnny is still reeling from that revelation, but he was able to hear his big brother's point of view. Yes, Will was shocked and disturbed when he learned what EJ had done to his mom, but he's still loved Johnny since the day he was born and assured Johnny that his conception doesn't define him. Johnny is his own separate person, something he needed to hear. Johnny had already felt guilty for leaving his father on the ground in Horton Square. The scene between Johnny and Will also reminded us of the history and relationship between the characters. We had never actually seen the adult Johnny and Will interact before, but now we know we want to see more.
