Welcome to the Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on Days of our Lives

Holly Jonas just can't seem to accept the fact that she really doesn't love Tate, nor did she ever love Tate. The second she took one look at Doug III on Christmas, it was clear that Tate would soon become an afterthought. And that is what he is today. She was much more concerned with hearing back from Doug than she was about anything that Tate had had to say recently. When you're giving a guy a secret place to stay in your bedroom and checking to see if he's texted you back every five minutes, maybe you're not as into your boyfriend as you think you are, even if he is an ex-boyfriend for now. Yes, Holly ran to see Tate when he called, but as soon as Doug appeared, it was "Tate who?" Yes, Holly is torn, so she ran after Tate after he saw her with Doug, but she gave up pretty quickly and returned to Doug III. Perhaps Holly is starting to see that it's hopeless for her and Tate and is ready to move on. The fact that her former BFF is pregnant with Tate's child should be enough for Holly to run the other way, but the truth is, she's really not that into Tate. The moment both Holly and Tate realize that first love is fleeting and over, the better for the characters and this storyline.
