Welcome to Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on Days of our Lives

Does Days of our Lives remember that Arianna Horton was raised by her fathers and barely by her mother at all? In fact, Gabi was imprisoned in Statesville a whopping three times during Ari's 18 years of life, some of which she spent in Arizona with Sonny and Will. It's amazing that Ari even knows the Hernandez side of the family, much less being involved with their family traditions. However, she apparently has spent countless Christmases with the Hernandez clan since she knew all about the non-unique tradition of going around the room and saying what you are thankful for. She even thought it was cringeworthy, but when did she ever experience it? Gabi and Ari just seem way too close for a mother-daughter duo that has hardly spent any time together on screen since Arianna was born. But we guess this is what we like to call a retconned past to go with the case of SORAS. Tate seems to be in the same position. Despite being raised in California and hardly spending any time with Rachel at all while growing up, they now have this close sibling relationship that seems to have done out of nowhere. He even spent some of his childhood with Ari, if we are to believe even more made-up childhoods from our favorite college-age Salemites. That's what happens when you age too fast, we guess.
