Welcome to Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on Days of our Lives

Gwen posed an interesting question on Thursday's Days of our Lives. Was EJ looking forward to Sami's imminent arrival in Salem? After all, she pointed out how hurt he was that he did not see Samantha the last two times she was in town this past year. Granted, she was in his hospital room when EJ was comatose, but EJ didn't actually know she was there. She also seemed to be there more for Johnny than she was for EJ. But Gwen might have a good point. Is EJ's failure of a love life all due to being hung up on his ex-wife? No matter how hard EJ tries, he can never seem to keep a romance together. Yes, EJ is his own worst enemy when he is with a new woman. He can't stop manipulating and trying to control them. But EJ knows he can't control Sami, and maybe that is the attraction. With Sami set to return with an engagement ring on her finger, that could complicate any attraction that EJ might have to his ex-wife and the mother of his children, but it would also show EJ's weaker side. It could also spark Belle's jealous side and prompt her to work things out with EJ, since she can't let her big sister win. When Sami shows up in Salem, anything can happen, and it always does.
