Days of our Lives Daily YAPP Recap, November 7: The anvils were flying...

Welcome to Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on Days of our Lives

As soon as Chad sat down with Leo to give him a sounding board for his heartache and emotions, we knew where Days of our Lives was headed. First, it reaffirmed the friendship between Chad and Leo, which has evolved over the years from distaste to frenemies to friends. (Remember when Leo had a crush on Chad and got him into a drag queen show using the name Belinda Chynashop? Those were good times, indeed.) Leo told Chad that he should be glad he never knows what it feels like to lose a son. Immediately, Leo realized that Chad really did lose his wife, while Leo would still be Little T's godfather, so it was not that kind of loss. However, Chad might soon have a double tragedy on his hands. We felt like we were watching Hope spy Zack running into the street with oncoming traffic when Thomas ran off, and a car screeched. It's every parent's worst nightmare, and now it looks like it's happening to Chad. As DAYS turns 60 on November 8th and Salem honors Dr. Thomas Horton, his namesake great-great-grandson, Thomas DiMera, will be in University Hospital with his life on the line. What a way to begin a new era in Salem, while bringing together old favorites in the coming weeks. We just ask that DAYS not kill a child. Please and thank you.
