Welcome to Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on Days of our Lives

Sophia has become a little too over-the-top for our tastes. We never bought her reason for dropping her newborn off at the firehouse to begin with. Why was she so sure that Tate would refuse to give the baby up? And if she was right, would it have been so bad for Tate to take custody of Tesoro if she didn't want him? Instead, she created this elaborate web of lies that is now all falling apart. And so what if they do? Sure, people will be angry at her, but is that so horrible? Is this girl so immature that she can't handle some people coming down on her for doing some awful things? She seemed genuinely freaked out by the idea of Melinda being exasperated with her. And now, she is running away from home so people don't yell at her for lying. While she resorted to secrets, lies, and trickery, she didn't do anything that would put her behind bars for years. It just feels like Sophia is making something out of relatively nothing, as far as soap operas go. So, this story and her behavior are just silly, or she is hiding something much deeper than the fact that she had a one-night stand with Aaron. Something tells us it's the former, and Sophia is just a very selfish and immature character who can't face people being angry at her.
