Days of our Lives Daily YAPP Recap, October 20: Is Sophia hiding something else?

Welcome to Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on Days of our Lives

Sophia's fears of anyone learning her secret seemed to extreme last week, and her catatonic state this week does not seem to match up with the secrets she's been keeping. While Sophia has been through a lot, her mental break makes us wonder if she is going to eventually reveal a secret nobody saw coming. We want to know more about Sophia's family and why we only hear about her father but have not met him yet. And what about her brothers? What are they like? Sophia's entire family dynamic could add insight into this fairly new and fascinating character. We hope there is more to Sophia's back story and that she does indeed have a secret, or else where else can Days of our Lives go with her? Sophia and Amy seem to exist on a character island all their own, with not enough connections established throughout Salem. We hate to lose these two new characters when this storyline ends, so we are hoping for a secret or two somewhere down the road in the near future. Were there more problems at home for Sophia than just a domineering mother who never really got to know her daughter? What made this character turn into someone who rebelled and lied so much? Let this not be the end of the road for Sophia, as there are so many more stories that can play out.
