Welcome to Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on Days of our Lives
It's been a long time coming, but now everything is on the table for Xander and Sarah. Both of them have spent the entire year keeping secrets from one another, but now it's all out there, so maybe Sarah and Xander can finally start over — eventually. Sarah kept the truth about the forged letter from Victor for months, while Maggie even encouraged it. Xander found out the truth on his own, but lo and behold, he did not attack Philip as Sarah had feared. However, he did attack Philip when he discovered Sarah had known for months, but never said anything. Sarah knew it had to be Xander, but finally believed Philip when he swore his brother did not attack him. When Sarah and Xander reconciled, we thought it would be months until the real truth came out, but Days of our Lives wisely allowed honesty within weeks. Sometimes, when every fact is laid bare, it's easier to rebuild. Sarah might not see that yet, as she is set to kick Xander out of his own house again tomorrow, but now Sarah and Xander have a blank slate to work with. They are a soap couple that is clearly endgame, and now they can get on with the show. The lies have all been brought to light, and a new start is finally on its way.
