Welcome to Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on Days of our Lives
Days of our Lives has introduced school to the scene this year, both for the college kids and the little kids, and we are not quite sure what to make of it. In fact, things already seem quite scandalous. Holly and Ari are in trouble and have to face a disciplinary committee for underage drinking that resulted in a fire, while Sophia is trying to make it seem like Johnny is having an affair with his student, Holly. Now, we learn that Jeremy Horton is going to be Thomas DiMera's (and presumably Rachel Black's) fifth-grade teacher, which doesn't sit right with us. Just after learning that Jeremy is an elementary school teacher, Stephanie reminded Alex and the viewers that she was once in an abusive relationship with him. By the time Jeremy arrived at her door, we heard ominous music that told us this man was still no good. Yet, he is going to be teaching the children of Salem. Maybe Jeremy really has changed and knows the error of his ways. However, DAYS is already hinting that Jeremy still has some demons lurking, so we're not quite sure how we feel about him being one of the teachers of Salem. We're going to reserve full judgment for the moment and hope that the show doesn't completely miss the mark with this character and story.
