Welcome to Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on Days of our Lives

Something about Jeremy Horton's return to Salem and his connection to Stephanie is not sitting well with us. We understood everything that Kayla and Steve were telling Jennifer about people changing for the better and learning to forgive for your own sake, but it's pretty clear that Stephanie has not forgiven Jeremy for his behavior all those years ago. It is also clear that Stephanie has been traumatized by his behavior and still feels that trauma to this day. So, if that is the case, why would she write about one of their steamier sexual encounters in such detail in her book? That would indicate that something about their relationship had to have been positive, but how could it have been when the audience saw what happened in that hot tub all those years ago? Jeremy could have killed Stephanie. Why would Days of our Lives write this story in such a conflicting way when it involves such a serious topic? We sympathize with Stephanie, but having her write that scene is an unforced DAYS error. And as an aside, does anyone not find it odd that all these men are reading One Stormy Night? Why would schoolteacher Jeremy pick up a steamy romance novel? Not to stereotype, but this is not exactly a male-dominated genre. The fact that Steve, Philip, Jeremy, and other Salem men have read this book is just plain weird.
