Welcome to Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on Days of our Lives

Steve Johnson sure was a hypocrite on the September 10th episode of Days of our Lives. After denying being the one to plant the bug on Xander's desk by calling it an amateur and dumb move, he then proceeded to be amateur and dumb. Steve swore up and down that he gave his client a refund and refused to spy on Xander and Philip for this client any longer. He was then genuinely perplexed as he wondered who would have placed a listening device with the Kiriakis brothers. It took Stephanie to suggest that perhaps it was his client. Steve thought about it for a moment before agreeing that it was a possibility, but he wasn't quite sure. Say what?!?!?! Is Steve not a former ISA agent and current longtime private detective who owns his own successful agency? Isn't there a reason people turn to Black Patch as often as they do? If so, it doesn't seem to be because its owner is too sharp. Of course it was Gabi, Steve. How could this not occur to you, and why did your daughter have to think of it herself? She's amateur, and she wanted information you refused to provide. Is Steve Johnson losing his touch? Perhaps it is time to hang up his hat and enjoy a life of leisure, which was his original intention just a few short months ago.
