Days of our Lives Daily YAPP Recap, September 15: Stephanie does the sensible thing — for a change

Welcome to Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on Days of our Lives

Let's face it. Stephanie Johnson does not have the best luck with men, flitting from one to another in record time, frequently making the same mistakes. Thanks to her 50 Shades of Grey-like semi-autobiographical romance novel, we also know she has quite a few fascinating sexual experiences and is not shy in bed. Her tendency to hop from man to man, in search of that elusive love, is why we were surprised when she told Alex that she couldn't move in with him. She even referenced the last time she moved in with someone way too soon. It always seemed like a bad idea when Chad and Stephanie moved in together so soon after he lost Abigail. Stephanie was even trying to pressure Chad to put a ring on it. Sadly, the relationship did not last, and 30-something Stephanie ended up moving back in with her parents for a while. She is finally on her own again in a healthy relationship and doesn't want to ruin it by "shacking up" so soon. How mature and refreshing for a character who is not always very mature and can often be seen as a hot mess. Alexis is not happy, but respects Stephanie's wishes, another big surprise. Maybe this romance will actually last because the two parties have shown they can grow and mature while learning from their mistakes.
